Sheikh Hasina was providing her joint press statement with the Cambodian prime minister at the Peace Area after the official discussions between the two countries.
Hasina said they, during the discussion, discussed some of the full security challenges facing the area and expression their common resolve to dispute terrorism and extremism.
"We've also discussed the Rohingya crisis that peace is lost and strengthen of ours province. Bangladesh continues to shelter more than one million Rohingyas, closer to them 700,000 Rohingyas flee from persecution in Myanmar and took shelter in Bangladesh running time," she added that.
Describing Cambodia as a near local neighbor of Bangladesh, Hasina said the two countries share common aspirations to improve peace, security and improvement. "We collaborate Closely in many regional and global fora, including at ARF, ASEM, ACD and the UN."
She said her visit to Cambodia has been very rewarding as prime minister Hun Sen and she be committed to taking Bangladesh-Cambodia relations to all new heights and dimensions.
